As boarders repeatedly become areas of racial and economic tension, especially between affluent and impoverished countries, I propose a buffer state governed by a coalition government composed of representatives from Africa and the European Union. This new state will manifest as an urbanized bridge crossing, providing opportunities for trade, housing, refuelling breaks for ships, as well as outstanding access to the Atlantic and Mediterranean.
A series of educational facilities along the bridge will help provide language and vocational training so migrants from both directions will not face ostracization upon arrival at their destination.
The Things I'm Going to Do
This project catalogues more than a lifetime of achievement. Frustrated by the finite nature of existence, this project categorically explores a myriad of interests and alternate life paths.
